Core Foundations

The six core foundations below underpin the priorities, objectives, and strategies of Jayhawks Rising to ensure KU’s processes are aligned in a way that leads to excellence and maintains compliance with HLC, our accrediting body; KBOR, our governing authority; and our continued AAU membership. In addition, we demonstrate our commitment to diversity by becoming a model intersectional learning and work community. Embracing comprehensive internationalization represents an institutional promise to uphold a broad international perspective in order to transform the world through our discoveries and prepare our students to be effective leaders in a global society. Campus Constituent Surveys help us assess and evaluate the perceptions of the Lawrence/Edwards campus constituents (students, staff, faculty) to help improve the student experience and employee satisfaction.
